Lori Darling, General Manager
Lori Darling brings years of professional club management to Wild Oak. Prior to being at Wild Oak, she directed food and beverage operations for Santa Rosa’s Mayacama Club. In that role, she oversaw 300 events annually, including the club’s prestigious Celebrity Golf Classic, private membership events, and weddings.
Prior to Mayacama, Lori was proprietor of the renowned and wildly popular Café Lolo, which opened in Santa Rosa in 1993. The cafe’s excellent food and wine list coupled with Lori’s flair for generous service made Lolo the favorite haunt of the local community and out-of-town celebrities alike.
Darling excels at member services, attention to detail, and throwing a great party! Her warm hospitality contributes greatly to Wild Oak’s reputation for great club life.
Jolene Cortright, President, Board of Directors
A woman of diverse talents, Jolene Cortright is a wife, mother, professional Realtor and community-minded volunteer. She’s a gregarious personality who enjoys social occasions at Wild Oak Saddle Club. Residing in the Wild Oak neighborhood with her husband Sean and son Spencer, Jolene enjoys cooking, traveling, swimming and zip lining. She’s also a fun fashionista famously known for her extensive collection of designer shoes.
Joe Farinacci,
Executive Chef
Executive Chef Joe Farinacci is a culinary arts graduate of the prestigious Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. He attended Germany’s leading professional Wine and Sommelier School in Koblenz where he earned a European Wine Certificate, With Distinction.
He completed the Management Training program with Hyatt Hotels and soon thereafter was promoted to Sous Chef Tournant at the Hyatt Resort in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
He also served as Restaurant Chef at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. Immediately prior to joining Wild Oak, Chef Joe worked four years for the premier Mayacama Club where he developed menus, oversaw banquet production, and provided dining room meals for hundreds of club patrons.
John Whiting, Immediate Past President, Board of Directors
John Whiting spent 28 years in financial services and in December 2019, retired as a senior partner from Moss Adams, LLP where he led the wealth management practice in Northern California for the prior 15 years. He and his wife Laura have have two adult children, Andrew, 33, who resides in Santa Rosa, and Leigh, 31, who resides in Brooklyn, NY. John and Laura joined WOSC in 2016 and presently live in Bennett Valley where they raised their family. Travel is a big part of John and Laura’s lives.
